Saman - You misunderstood my post. That's why I said clearly "Gilly was too good at his job". Kalu didn't had a good average but surely he did start pinch hitting before Gilly. Comment about fast bowling 100 mph + ........is just a thought in your mind, but Kalu actually did succeed for a short while in pinch hitting. Y2 - I meant Jayasuriya batted well in the 4th ODI. Before that only Mahela and Mirando was our only batters. The others were there only to make up the numbers. You think the toss has much to do? I think so to, but also how you apply yourself to the game. Clearly Sri lanka doesn't have any clue how to even start chasing a total. We won the toss today and let's see how India go about the chase batting second!!

Jayasuriya was the only batsman who scored in this series. We need to drop Dilshan, Kapugedara, Silva and replace them with new players and create some competition inside the camp. Sometimes a change of captaincy/leadership could affect the teams chemistry or performance. May be players feel more comfortable under KP's captaincy rather then Vaughan. England were all over the place in one dayers before and to be honest they didn't have a clue about the shorter version.
