del.. Its good that Mahela is batting slowly. I think he wants to bat only ones in this game. Its another story of that actually happening, but thats their mindset right now.
Master G... spot on... bluntly South African batsmen is OK and also bluntly Indian spin bowler (Literally) is also OK.... and presumably, Nasser is a born Pakistani isn't he??? Who is he kidding...............
Ohh, now the supposedly the pitch in Lords is to blame for the draw in the first test. Well, if by any chance SA had a bad day and got out it wouldn't have been the case now would it???? You can blame the pitch all you want but if u cant get a side out on 180 odd overs then there must be something wrong with your attack or the other side dug out one hell of a rear guard innings. Give the devil its due, all u English Journo's.... Get it in to your head.... ''ENGLAND IS NOT THAT GOOD WHEN IT COMES TO CRICKET!!!!''... There not that good when it comes to anything for that matter.
There is a huge build up for Eng vs SA series. I think its gonna be a huge bore. SA's gonna run over Eng for sure. If they didn't its only coz of their stupidity. England are the ''Britney Spears'' of cricket. If they get so much publicity and so much media but they never really have the results to show for it.
NIPUNA.... your saying that SL should give a chance to Mubarak??? R u serious??? He has played 28 ODI's and only have an ave. of 20.25. He has been give so much opportunity and never really performed. Chmara Silva deserves a spot, he may not have performed well in recent time but he deserves a chance as he has played many valuable knocks. as for Dilshan opening I dont think think he has the technique to handle the new ball. As he proved in the CB series. Sanga and Jayasuriya is a perfect combination and both players would benefit out of this. The only worry according to me is certainly in the one day game... is that we have to put Mahela @ no.4. Then a guy like Kapugedara who really played well in recent times, to put him in No.3.
I have problems with the 2 English players in the Team of the Month.(No pun intended:;).After England losing the series convincingly and none of them really featuring any sort of Match winning contribution (Wait! other than collingwoods half century in the 3rd game.) It dosnt seem fair. You'd much rather have Lasith Malinga who picked up 12 wickets in 8 games and generally troubled the batsmen with sheer pace. Jamie How should have been their as well. He may have not scored in all the matches but he's 139 off 116 balls it self should have been enough to make it in the team.

Del... U're right...The weather should hold up for a result... But I don't see that happening knowing SL's weather, but still they could press for a result, providing Indian batting line up doesn't live up to their worth. Long way from that happening though....
