About akhtar: i think he is being unfairly punished by pakistan cricket. Every team has a "bad boy" or two. Most teams just hand out the occasional ban. Examples are: south africa has gibbs, india has harbhajan (maybe sreesanth also), australia has symonds (taking out the naked guy) and hayden (wanting to fight a 19 yr old), west indies has samuels etc.

So finally some good ol test cricket starting tomorrow. :) going to be a welcome change. Just realised that england will have a good team against sa. I thought they ll roll over. But with sidebottom the bowling is pretty decent and if vaughan gets into form it might be a competitive series.
