Afghanistan beat the Netherlands by five wickets in the third place play-off in Division One of the ICC World Cricket League.
Set a target of 219, Mohammad Shahzad and Asghar Stanikzai hit half-centuries as the Afghans got home with a full four overs to spare at Hazelaarweg, Rotterdam.
Shahzad (82) and Stanikzai (64) shared 93 for the fourth wicket after Netherlands seamer Mudassar Bukhari (2-22) had struck twice in his opening spell.
They both fell with the winning line in sight but Karim Sadiq finished the job with 21 not out.
The hosts had earlier been grateful to a knock of 96 from Tom Cooper as they struggled to 218-5 from their 50 overs after opting to bat first.
Wollongong-born Cooper, who represented Australia at Under 19 level before switching allegiance, struck seven fours in his 135-ball contribution from number three before Wesley Barresi added some much needed late runs with 51 not out from 40 deliveries.
