Scotland were on the brink of on an emphatic win at the end of day three of their ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Holland.
The only question was whether they would need to bat again on the final day as their hosts collapsed to 168 for eight in their second innings - still 13 runs behind.
Scotland, who are set to return to the top of the table, resumed their first innings on Saturday morning on 273 for seven - a lead of only 63.
But their tail wagged vigorously to boost that total to an impressive 391 all out, Majid Haq (30), Matthew Parker (65) and Gordon Goudie (44 not out) doing the damage with the bat before Pieter Seelaar (three for 67) finally polished off the innings.
Holland's hopes of avoiding an innings defeat suffered a triple blow when they fell to 52 for three but they rallied to 167 for five, largely thanks to Eric Szwarczynski (62).
However, a hat-trick of late-afternoon run-outs cost them dearly as Richie Berrington, Parker and Qasim Sheikh uprooted the stumps of Wilfred Diepeveen (21), Mark Jonkman (four) and Adeel Raja (nought), respectively.
That and the removal of Ruud Nijman (nought) by Berrington (three for 19) saw the home side add just one run for the loss of three wickets.
By the close of play, Holland captain c was providing almost solitary resistance, having reached 52no - but defeat appeared simply a matter of time.
