The Netherlands secured their second consecutive victory in the ICC World Cricket League with a comfortable seven-wicket win against Canada.

Canada were again made to pay for failing to set a competitive total as their effort of 168 was easy to chase down for a talented Dutch outfit.

The North Americans' captain Ashish Bagai won the toss and elected to bat and while he led from the front with an impressive 71, he was offered little support.

Geoff Barnett (34) and number nine Calvert Hooper (27) were the only other players to reach double figures.

Mark Jonkman (three for 39) and Bradley Kruger (three for 21) were the pick of the bowlers for the Netherlands, with Kruger claiming the scalps of both Barnett and Bagai.

The home side lost Tom de Grooth (one) early but never looked like letting their victory chances slip as Eric Szwarczynski's unbeaten 84 at the top of the order providing the stability needed to chase down the small total.
